Wired or wireless microphones? What’s the difference for your event
Wired or Wireless, one sounds better than the other right?! Wrong, The difference with wired and wireless is down to how you want to use it.
Wired microphones offer the least interference and least chance of interruption to your audio, however it comes with the downside of dragging a wire with you! By this definition they are best when stationary, many microphones need to be powered but thankfully this is handled by the sound console via the cable therefore all that needs to be decided upon is the type of microphone.
